Psoralea Corylifolia (Babchi/Bawchi) is an essential plant, which is having various common names like Psoralea Seed, Cot Chu, Ku Tzu Malaysia, Malay Tea, Scurf-pea, P'o Ku Chih, Malaysian Scurfpea and Pha Cot Chi. It is mostly used as diaphoretic, diuretic, stimulant and laxative. In addition to this, these are also utilized for producing perfumed oil and powder seeds of Psoralea are just used for removing various skin related issues. These are also used in the treatment of leucoderma, psoriasis and febrile conditions.
